Nice atlas

This is a very basic atlas. Perhaps it is more suitable for residents than for experienced surgeons, anyway, I like it. Of particular remark is the chapter on aortic valve sparing procedures, which is very clear, well written and has excellent illustrations.
On th other hand, I have discovered a mistake: Aortic root enlergement operations are wrongly described and depicted

Good overview in cardiac surgery techniques

Being somewhat basic, this atlas gives a very nice overview in current cardiovascular techniques for both beginners and practicing cardiac surgeons. It probably is more suitable for residents and junior surgeons than for experienced surgeons, yet. Great and helpful illustrations.

It's a masterpiece of heart surgery although it's photos are in full color it ends not here.
As a book it has also access to online videos of different surgical procedures of the heart region.
Although you may not be a Heart Surgeon but you are a Resident in another Surgery Region you MUST
have this book in your desk office.
