Can't call a cookbook

I really don't understand all the great reviews for this book if you would call it that it is more like a pamphlet. It is so generic and bad in describing what the Dash Diet really is. It provides no description on what a meal plan would look like. The only information it gives you is a list of what servings you should eat per day example eat 4 to 6 servings of fruit, 2 to 3 servings of dairy and then it gives you a generic restocking the pantry list. The recipes are nothing exciting and you can get the same and better ones from Sparks Recipes. The reviews to me are giving a review of the Dash Diet it's self and not this horrible book. You really can't call it a cookbook. It should really be a free one that they give away. I am returning it. The book was $18 plus shipping ended up being $25. For this price I really wanted more.

Great book! Author provides sound information on the Dash Diet including daily nutrient goals and eating plan.
The book is extremely well written and formatted very nicely.
There are some excellent recipes with preparation instructions and nutritional information per each recipes.

The Dash Diet Cookbook was well organized and presented many delicious recipes to help you achieve your goals and lose weight and become healthier using the DASH diet. The author did an excellent job describing the diet, its benefits and how you should plan your meals for best results. I can't wait to try some of the recipes!
